Kids learn, rally and play quickly using an approach that is both enjoyable and rewarding. Tailoring equipment and courts so they are sized appropriately for kids makes the game more accessible—and more fun—by allowing kids to play cooperative and competitive games from the start.

10 and Under Tennis eliminates waiting on long lines to hit the ball, and the frustration kids feel at not being able to rally. Kids will enjoy playing the game right away and keep coming back for more—developing a lifelong passion and appreciation for tennis.

The format customizes tennis for children in the following ways:
• The court size is smaller which improves lateral movement and encourages net play
• Balls bounce at a height equal to kids’ playing abilities for better and longer rallies, allowing kids to build all-court games.
• The net height is lower, increasing consistency
• Racquets are proportionate in length and weight, and have the grips that fit smaller hands allowing for more control
Best of all, the QuickStart Tennis format allows kids to develop savvy games including enhanced skills and strategy at an early age that will transfer to the full court as they get older and more experienced.
East Brunswick Racquet Club is forming two USTA Sanctioned 10 & Under Junior Team Tennis Leagues that will include training and organized play, directed by:

We have extended the Quick Start 5-10 Year old Youth group which will start Sunday, April 17th for 4 weeks from 5-6 PM. The program has become popular so space will be limited. The cost of the Quick Start Program is $100 for 4 one hour sessions one regular court will have 4 smaller USTA Quick Start courts with one instructor for each group of 3 to 5 students. We will be using Quick Start Foam and Transition balls and teach the kids how to rally and play tennis in a smaller fun filled environment. Larry Dillon Quick Start Training specialist and Ed Ransom plus assistants will make up the staff.
